Are you prepared?

On April 08, 2012, we will celebrate Easter! For Christians this is the celebration of our Lord Jesus Christ’s resurrection from the dead! When He died on the cross, He paid for our sins. When He rose from the dead, He ensured that those who accept Him as their Lord and Savior will have eternal life. Those who reject Him will suffer eternal separation from God and will burn in the lake of fire.

Several Americans  seem to have forgotten that our nation was founded on Judeo-Christian principles. Our forefathers were Christians. They prominently displayed their faith and were not ashamed to boldly declare the Gospel of Christ. If today was your last day on earth, are you prepared? Will you celebrate with Jesus or will you perish? Don’t let another minute go by without accepting Him as your Savior. Say the sinner’s prayer, “God, I know that I am a sinner. I know that I deserve the consequences of my sin. However, I am trusting in Jesus Christ as my Savior. I believe that His death and resurrection provided for my forgiveness. I trust in Jesus and Jesus alone as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you Lord, for saving me and forgiving me! Amen!”

If you have prayed this prayer and truly mean it, your next step is to find a Bible believing church and start going to services. Then, ask them to baptize you in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Also, start reading your Bible. If you don’t have a Bible, search online for an online Bible and begin reading it online. YouVersion Bible has several online reading plans that can help you get started, so you will know where to go. You can also download your own Bible from this web site.

Be prepared!
