Parting Words

I hope these verses resonate with you as you read them. God's Word is teaching us that we are to put Him first. We are to obey His teachings. We need to have a solid foundation from which to grow. We must seek Him first and He will take care of our needs. He loans us wealth during our lifetime on this Earth. We cannot go and try to get rich on our own. Yes, you can achieve wealth in this Earth without Him.
Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
However, your reward in heaven will not exist. He warns not to be co-signers for anyone's else's debt. He instructs us to be generous with His wealth and not to hoard it. Otherwise, we will lose everything. We are to treat others as we want to be treated. We cannot ignore the suffering of others because there but for His grace we could go. God is merciful. He wants us to look to Him and He will take care of us.
