Treasure
Matthew 6:19 is an important verse in the Bible that teaches us about the importance of storing up treasure in heaven rather than on earth. It says, “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.”

This verse reminds us that the things of this earth are temporary and will eventually pass away. Our material possessions and worldly achievements are not what define us as individuals. Instead, we should focus on living a purposeful life and investing in things that truly matter such as kindness, love and compassion towards others.

Ultimately, we all share the same fate in this world, which is death. But by storing up treasure in heaven, we can ensure that our legacy as good, kind and loving people will last beyond our physical existence and inspire others to live better lives.

Let us not focus on material possessions and earthly gains, but strive to live a purposeful life and store up treasure in heaven.
