Charge Card vs Credit Card

What is the difference between a charge card and a credit card? The entire balance on a charge card has to be paid-off at the end of the month. Whereas, a credit card allows you to carry a balance into other months. Credit cards enable you to get in debt because people don’t pay-off the entire balance when it’s due.
