Money is a vital resource in our lives, and it’s understandable why many of us worry about it. We worry about our job security, our financial future, and our ability to achieve our goals and dreams. However, worrying about money only causes stress and anxiety, and it does nothing to improve our financial situations.
Instead of obsessing over money, we should trust that God will provide for us. As we read in Matthew 6:26, “Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?” If God provides for the birds of the air, then surely He will provide for us.
We should have faith that God has a plan for our lives, and that includes our financial well-being. We can do our part by working hard, being responsible with our money, and giving back to others. However, we should not let money consume us or dictate our decisions. Instead, we should be fearless and trust in God’s provision.
